In an effort to promote effective communication between home and school, please use the following guidelines when contacting the school.

1. Use the proper protocol.

Please use the protocol in the following order when contacting the school:

Classroom/special area teacher

Principal

Superintendent

Board of Education

 

2. Know whom to call with your concerns.

Miss Critelli, Guidance Counselor, can assist you with questions about counseling, emotional, and/or behavioral issues related to school performance.

Mrs. Zoller, LDTC/CST Coordinator, can assist you with questions about services for students with special needs.

Mrs. Royer, Curriculum Coordinator, can assist you with questions about curriculum, standardized and state-mandated tests.

Mr. Capuano, Principal, can assist you with questions about school and busing, discipline, scheduling, and student activities.

Mr. Stoloski, Superintendent, can assist you with questions about Board policies, budget issues, building and grounds, and state guidelines.

3. Leave messages for teachers using the voice mail system.

Teachers can be reached at anytime through the voice mail system. Since the phones do not ring in the classrooms, lessons will not be interrupted. Teachers will call you back at their earliest convenience.

4. Communicate through the E-mail system.

All staff members can be reached through the e-mail system. Staff can be reached byfirst initial, last name @ eastamwell.org. (ex. jcapuano@eastamwell.org)
